Sourgrass or Pink-sorrel (Oxalis articulata)

Sourgrass or Pink-sorrel (Oxalis articulata), in road verge beside Merri Parade. We covered this South American wood sorrel on the channel earlier this spring, but in comparison with the previous group of plants, this colony was taking full advantage of locally damp conditions, with excellent form and no sign of stress. Brought to Melbourne as a garden ornamental c. 1855, and subsequently naturalised.
